Omar Swei, a PhD candidate expected to graduate in February 2017, is the recipient of a 2016 Fulbright grant. Swei is one of eight MIT students and graduates to receive the prestigious grant. Swei will reside in Jordan and design new software to help transportation planners improve maintenance on the state-owned highway system. Read more on MIT News.
