Research Interests
Current research interests include project evaluation, risk assessment, costing and strategic planning for intermodal transportation systems, and railroad systems performance. A specialist in rail transportation, Mr. Martland has studied service design, costing and control, equipment utilization, preventive maintenance, terminal operations, intermodal transportation, productivity, and technology assessment.
