Campus Preview Weekend
“Course 1 takes MIT’s “mind and hand” motto very seriously; students learn from lab exercises, hands-on projects and experimental research, which all supplement the material they learn in lectures.” – Marcin Hajduczek ‘22
Welcome to MIT! Course 1 is all about understanding the world around us and taking on global challenges. We work in areas such as renewable energy, autonomous transportation, and sustainable/resilient infrastructure.
You can read more details about our undergraduate program here.
While we wish that we could meet you all in person, we’ll instead be hosting two events over CPW where you can chat with current students and learn more about life in Course 1:
Friday, April 17 @ 2 pm EST
Course 1 Student Q&A Panel
Join the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (Course 1) for a brief overview of our undergraduate program followed by a Q&A panel with the students.
Sunday, April 19 from 1-3 pm EST
Games + Q&A with CEESA
Come join the executive members of MIT’s Civil and Environmental Engineering Student Association (CEESA) for fun online games! Hear about our love for Course 1 (best one!) and ask us questions about our experiences in leadership, academics, internships, and more.
