Professor Admir Masic leads the annual program on Materials in Art, Archaeology and Architecture (ONE-MA3), now called Materials in Human Experience, in which MIT undergraduates will conduct two weeks of fieldwork in Rome, Sermoneta, and Pompeii as a fieldwork component of the 1.034/3.094 Materials in Human Experience class. The program involves real-world analysis of ancient infrastructures and materials and focuses on ways to improve sustainability of the future through the study of ancient successes.
