The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is combining research, deep domain knowledge, fundamental computer science skills and cross-disciplinary collaboration to develop scalable solutions to the sustainability challenges facing society and the planet. Our faculty and students are pioneering new discoveries that have the potential to reshape communities, industries and economies.
