CEESA Career Fair

The MIT Civil and Environmental Engineering Student Association (CEESA), would like to invite you to attend the 2017 Course 1 Career Fair on Friday, February 24th, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Bush Room in building 10 on MIT campus, 10-105. There will be a networking reception to follow the fair, in the Stata Commons.

Employers

The career fair will take place on MIT’s campus in the Bush Room in Building 10 (10-105) on Friday, February 24th from 12 pm to 4 pm. Following the career fair, you are invited to join a reception for company representatives and students in the Stata Commons. Both the career fair and reception are open to undergraduate and graduate students in all areas of civil and environmental engineering.

There is a fee of $250 for your company’s participation. We will handle all publicity and event management, provide participating companies with an online resume book, a table and chairs, as well as the opportunity to meet many highly qualified job-seeking students. Payment should be made via check to:

The career fair is planned and put on by MIT’s Civil and Environmental Engineering Student Association (CEESA), a student organization that seeks to provide a supportive community and career opportunities for our students.

If you are interested in participating in the 2017 Career Fair, attending the reception, and/or hosting a coffee hour please register here.

Prior to the Career Fair, we will provide all registered companies access to an online resume book and all registered students will receive a book of company descriptions.

Students

Please submit your resume for the CEESA Career Fair by 12pm on Sunday, February 12 using the link provided. All participants who submitted their resume will receive a printed name tag at the event.

Q: Is the CEESA Career Fair open to both undergraduate and graduate students? 

A: Yes, the CEESA Career Fair is open to all students in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

 

Q: What sort of career opportunities will be there?

A: Companies attending the career fair will be offering full-time and internship opportunities in many areas of civil and environmental engineering. A booklet will be provided listing the hiring capacity of each company.

 

Q: What companies are attending? 

A: The list of companies will become available and will be published in a career fair handbook towards the beginning or middle of February.

 

Q: How should I prepare for the career fair? 

A: Please print and bring copies of your resume to distribute to employers and prepare a basic introduction of yourself to share when speaking with employers. Dress is business casual.

 

Q: How can I volunteer to help at the career fair? 

A: We would love additional helping hands at the career fair. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact ceesa-cf@mit.edu.
