NPR’s Joe Palca attended Prochlorococcus Fest, a two-day celebration at MIT honoring the 20th anniversary of the discovery of the marine microbe. The fest featured a range of talks highlighting research on the smallest and most abundant oxygen-producing organism in the oceans.
