CEE Professor Herbert H. Einstein is pleased to announce the upcoming “Shale Symposium,” hosted by himself and the International Congress for Rock Mechanics. This three-day symposium is subdivided into a collection of sessions, featuring discussions forming around the following topics: basics and slopes, tunnels and mines, and hydrocarbon extraction. Two keynotes, as well as a large number of papers by world-leading experts, will be presented during each session. This symposium will take place in Montreal from May 10-13.
