Markus Buehler honored by three professional societies and featured in MIT News profile
Professor Markus Buehler was recently honored by three national societies. Last fall, the Applied Mechanics Division of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers awarded him the Thomas J.R. Hughes Young Investigator Award. In January, the Society of Engineering Science awarded him the Young Investigator Medal. And on April 11, the Materials Research Society (MRS) presented him with the Outstanding Young Investigator Award, recognizing his “innovative and creative” interdisciplinary research in materials science.
