The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) announced the induction of Professor Markus Buehler to its College of Fellows – an organization comprised of only the top two percent of medical and biological engineers nationwide. Buehler, CEE department head, was elected for his work applying computational methods to the design of new biomaterials, the interpretation of the behavior of complex biomaterials and the integration of experiment and simulation across multiple scales. The induction ceremony will be held on March 16 during AIMBE’s 2015 Annual Meeting at the National Academy of Sciences Great Hall in Washington, DC. Read more about the AIMBE College of Fellows.
