Professor Chiang C. Mei will present a seminar entitled “Some Multi-Scale Problems in Wave Hydrodynamics” in the upcoming Environmental Sciences Seminar on Thursday, March 12. Applying the asymptotic method of homogenization, Mei and attendees will analyze a few examples in water wave dynamics where inhomogeneity arises from different mechanisms.
