3-D printed materials mimic nature: Markus Buehler’s work in New ScientistA recent story in New Scientist featured an interview with Professor Markus Buehler about his research using 3-D printing to recreate the properties of bone with polymers. “3-D printing allows us to control the structure on the scale of micrometers,” says Buehler. “It’s a very different technique to that used in nature, but it essentially captures the features of bone.” Read the article.
