On Friday, June 8 CEE graduates gathered with families, friends and faculty, staff and alumni for an afternoon party following MIT’s 146th Commencement exercises. During the 2011-12 academic year, the department awarded 115 degrees: 18 doctorates; 16 Master of Science in Transportation degrees; 17 Master of Science degrees; 34 Master of Engineering degrees; 1 Engineer’s degree and 29 Bachelor of Science degrees (14 in civil engineering, 11 in environmental engineering science, and four undesignated).
