AirMOSS selected as NASA proof-of-concept mission

In May, NASA announced that the Airborne Microwave Observatory of Subcanopy and Subsurface (AirMOSS) mission has been selected as one of the first Earth Venture projects, which use new technologies to monitor Earth systems through remote sensing. From a NASA airplane, AirMOSS will take measurements related to the ecosystem’s net carbon exchange. Professor Dara Entekhabi is a co-investigator on AirMOSS. Read a NASA press release.
