Professor Marta C. González was a member of the organizing committee of the NetSci 2010 International School and Conference on Network Science, held last week at Northeastern University and MIT. González was also on the scientific committee for NetMob, a related workshop on the analysis of mobile phone networks held at the MIT Media Lab the day before NetSci 2010. Other organizers of NetSci were Albert-Laszlo Barabasi of Northeastern University and Harvard Medical School, Cesar Hidalgo of Harvard University, and Ginestra Bianconi of Northeastern.
