In March, Professor John Williams gave a series of talks in India on the need for smart electrical grids that will allow homes and businesses to draw power from the main grid at times that will save money, and help eliminate the need for additional power plants. Williams traveled with MIT’s Professional Education Program (PEP) as part of the MIT/Accenture Collaboration to make presentations at Accenture Bangalore, Accenture Mumbai, and the K.J. Somaiya Unviersity Mumbai, where he was given a red-carpet welcome. More about PEP.
