Concrete Sustainabilty Hub to hold CSHub Industry Day

CSHub logoOn Thursday, Aug. 11 more than 500 people are expected to attend the CSHub Industry Day, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium. The MIT dean of engineering will give the welcome address. Other speakers include John Sununu, former governor of New Hampshire and former chief of staff for President George H.W. Bush, and Hubert Murray, former president of the Boston Society of Architects. MIT researchers will present their findings on the two inaugural projects of the CSHub, “The Edge of Concrete: A Life-Cycle Investigation of Concrete and Concrete Structures” and “From Liquid to Stone: The Genesis of Concrete.” CEE faculty and students are invited to attend the event free of charge, but advance registration is required.
