Professor Otto X. Cordero and other Ecuadorian-natives of the MIT community are helping lead recent earthquake relief efforts by publicizing groups accepting donations. Speaking about the recent Ecuadorian quakes, Professor Cordero says “Many of these towns have only basic infrastructure where people usually make a living from tourism and fishing.
