Using Killian Court as a testing ground over the summer, CEE senior research associate John Germaine measured pore pressure in soils for a fraction of the cost of previous tests made using a drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico. Germaine and colleagues are developing a new probe for determining soil pore pressure and ground temperature. Read a news story.
