Professor Roman Stocker will chair the new Committee on the MIT Climate Change Conversation, which will seek broad input from the Institute on how the US and world can most effectively address global climate change. The Conversation will explore pathways to effective climate change mitigation, including how MIT can constructively move the global and national agendas forward through education, research and campus engagement. The committee is scheduled to produce a final report during this academic year recommending a path forward, to be submitted by June 2015.
