Papers by CEE postdoctoral associate Naeem Abdulhadi and two CEE doctoral students — Rebecca Gianotti and Ásbjörg Kristinsdóttir —have been accepted for the final round of the Graduate and Student Paper competition of the regional affiliate of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). Abdulhadi’s paper is titled, “Behavior of Resedimented Clay at High Consolidation Stresses”; Gianotti’s is titled, “The Potential for Environmental Management to Contribute to Malaria Vector Control in Western Niger”; and Kristinsdóttir’s is titled, “Risk Management for New Power Plant Development.” The winner will be selected from 10 papers on April 20 in New York.
