Professor Otto X. Cordero has been selected by the Simons Foundation to receive a 2016 Simons Early Career Investigator in Marine Microbial Ecology and Evolution Award, with funding for his project entitled, “Systems Ecology of Particle-Attached Microbial Communities in the Ocean”. These awards help launch the careers of outstanding investigators who use quantitative approaches to advance our understanding of marine microbial ecology and evolution. More information.
